I think you are actually just angry someone else was paid more to photoshop these posters together than Gawker pays you to do the same. </s>

I can answer this for him.
Yes and no. The echo does not actually act as a hub in the smarthome ecosystem, it does however connect back to another hub, or service which then allows you to interact with your devices.

The smarthome ecosystem really is the wildwest of the tech world right now. Some of the best management

To be fair, the Google Home actually accepts quite a bit more, just not via its built in AI. Since its a capable casting device, the number of casting services make it quite a bit robust. Still that direct play of the audio file, not a compressed BT version.

I really dont think any of that really matters though.
If

Wow you took my words so out of context, that its almost like you didnt want to argue what I said.

“Smart Speakers” are a niche product, in a niche market. That market being home automation. If you think apple is going to step in here and clean up this wild west, like they did with the smartphone market, then Id say

God I cant believe this same crap is being argued.

First off 2014 called and they want their facts and figures back.
Second off, this is always Apples game, and it has never been a winning formula over the long run. Apple’s idea of owning the supply chain, keeping the prices high, while spending less on the parts for

You just read the story of just another day in my hometown of Tampa Bay.

Fail! I mean its obvious he can’t read, and here you go trying to make fun of him by putting up yet another paragraph for him to read.
If you really cared to make sure he was informed and not just making fun of him, you would have provided an embedded audio clip. (/s)

While you may feel that justice rains from your butt, I can assure you that understanding is not being absorbed by your eyes.

I never once said that Democrats are or are not Anti-Net Neutrality. If you read the comment I was replying to you should be able to pick up on the fact that I was pointing out the differences

The era of the big evil republican with the corporate money is really now over...that money is now with the democrats. Our current Pres had to do it with his own money.

Wow, that’s a solid argument you have there.
Glad you were able to articulate the reasons why so clearly.

Sorry buddy, but this is exactly where this trend is going.
Your boy Tim over at apple has already stated that he sees no point in talking to a tube to perform functions that would be easier to handle with a screen. Thats a pretty good indicator that Apple’s forthcoming entry to this market might well follow this

Only if Fox and Friends played it you mean.

Im on board with you regarding the DIY Chromecast approach.
With that said there is one really annoying part that Im not sure will be fixed.

If I choose Chromecast or any other Googlecast option for my multi-room setup, then these are the speakers Im going to want to use for announcements in my smart-home setup. This

It’s real easy to demand Democrats cede ground when it’s not the ground on which you stand.

They also have no issue selling out anyone that doesn’t love, live, pray like them down the river to remain in power.

NO THEY DONT!!!
They don’t because of the simple idea that everyone now thinks they cause is the most important cause of all.

The problem is, if you only have 32GB of Optane for a 512GB - 2TB SSD or HDD or whatever, you’re not going to be able to cache everything to that Optane drive.

Id agree that the demographic is going to be lowend laptops.
However the profit margins for this demo are already razor thin, so that means adding an addtional $30 to $50 (thinking bulk orders) to the price with no profit added, while hoping that enough people understand the reason for the price bump, what it does for

Yep, thats my bet.
Start trying to recoup some of the development costs to keep it moving along.

Cool story bro...
I guess it happens so infrequently that they required a lay name for it, Black Screen of Death.

Ive only worked in the IT sector managing Window, Mac and Linux clients for 20 years, but hey someone on the internet disagrees with me, I must be wrong.
