If this was a response to the word patent, then Ill agree with you...

Good that means Google will update the voice commands in Android as a response.

There were actually several hurricane parties at beachfront hotels during Camille that caused deaths. I confirmed this just tonight with my mother and father who lived through the storm. The one she knew the most about was in Long Beach, which is the next town east of Pass Christian on the coast.

Number three I know about because it happened in my parents home town of Gulfport or it might have been Biloxi, its one of those well known stories from Camille.

Yep... We get a few deaths every storm from that and people fucking with downed powerlines, debris or tree limbs falling on them.

If the current track is correct you will get a Category 2 storm. As someone who has lived in Florida my entire life, I can tell you what to expect.

Yes I do believe I saw one back in the day where someone not paying attention walks in front of a train and a part of them strikes the camera some 15ft away thats recording it.

There are a few left... but since they are smaller, the prices go up and that kind of defeats the purpose of them.

Now all of that I fully agree with... but to use your own words, all of this is worlds apart from what was originally being claimed in this article.

I would also expect it to not have access to the Android Market, but instead force you through the Amazon Appstore.

You seem way to concerned with actual phone release dates and not the public showing of the devices. You have managed to ignore two commenters that called you out on the fact that Android showed off its GUI being all touch long before the G1 landed.

Well the way Sandybrige works you DO get that benifit. If this thing is built properly and I have no reason to doubt it is, then your battery should do fine if your not playing games.

2.8 is the native clock for the CPU, 3.5 is the turbo clock... All modern Intel CPUs i3,i5,i7 automatically overclock when needed.

I minor correction for you...

IF you look back over the past few years there was an inititive to start up a "Whitebox" space for laptops. A few parties joined in... At the same exact time, the other parties in the industry dropped their prices across the board to a level thats pretty damn close to disposable on all of their laptops.

What do you think the possibility is that Verizon passed on this device because they will be getting the often rumored Nexus Prime, which is rumored to be a Samsung device? Its rumored to be release in the next few months.

HBO really needs to improve their service for streaming... But I guess if Apple was the one doing the hosting it might solve that issue.

No thats not true... Apple could begin lobbying for the forcible leasing of Cable, copper and fiber lines to new startups. The same way the UK handled their problem.

The only way Ill vote for metered service (not like id ever get to vote for that) is if the lines were forcibly opened up to competition in the same manner as the UK... If it sticks with only current crop of ISP's then there is no change it will not end with my ass hurting.

I love the idea of an À la carte TV/Cable service. With that said I have often wondered if it would actually save any money for those with higher consumption levels. There are 9 channels I frequent over cable. IF they were all priced at lets say $5 a month, then I am not really saving too much money and Im getting a
