You’re seriously going to be holding up Snowden as a hero while positioning Assange as a Russian puppet?

Assange was a tool of Putin and helped get Trump elected.
Remember, it’s Chelsea Manning and Edward Snowden that exposed the government’s amorality. It’s Assange who coordinated with Putin’s team of hackers to disrupt the 2016 election by selectively releasing DNC material, while withholding similar GOP material, and rejecting leaks that would expose the Russian government.
I guess you could split up the acting categories by genre to keep the number the same (best performer/supporting performer in a drama and comedy/musical), but there should be a rule that you can only be nominated for one performing category in a year to spread it out.
Look, everybody! This guy hates Doctor Who but still watches it!
I can’t be alone in having a neutral opinion on Trump before he ran for office. I didn’t know about his dad or his own slum lord origins, or the ad he took out against the Central Park 5. He was just the dude with the “You’re fired!” catchphrase to me (and I was vaguely aware he’d been married several times).
Big idle speculation time:
Who decided a mouse should look like a hockey puck? I don’t remember these being comfortable at all.
90mg is a really big daily dose of diazepam, but it is very unlikely she would have stopped breathing in her sleep. It’s really hard to fatally overdose on any benzodiazepine unless you take it with other sedating drugs or alcohol.
I think South Park: Bigger, Longer, and Uncut is parodying stage musicals, not Disney musicals. Isn’t “La Resistance,” and the French boy who sings it, a pretty clear play on Les Miserables?
You rightfully mention it, but I just think it bears repeating: God damn, that is a great soundtrack! It’s almost “This is Spinal Tap” in how the songs are both a pitch-perfect pastiche and excellent sincere contribution to the form.
Do people know you can tell Star Trek stories without villains? Most of the individual Star Trek stories don’t have villains.
“Bluntly, that’s part of why I’m supporting him. I believe our justice system is being weaponized against him.”
“Not to mention, the San Francisco Bay Area has been battered by homelessness and drug issues.”
Which is more than proven to be exacerbated by right wing policies and can be solved by simply giving them housing.
I came here for exactly this type of comment. Take a star, friend.
Stepping away from what seems like the obvious choice (wealth and fame) can feel scary at times, but stepping into your dharma replaces the fear with fulfillment.
She wants time off to spend with her friends:
Stepping away from Wealth and Fame, while continuing to have it... whoof, gotta be great for that dharma...
I don’t want every episode of DW to be like this. But if they are going to aim for contemporary satire or allegory with a critical eye, I’d prefer it if they swing big and miss than not try at all. And this one landed for me.
I’m curious, how many times did you watch this episode?
