It was a kinda bad. I don’t necessarily mind the take that Napoleon was pathetic but I couldn’t tell if it was supposed to be a comedy or not. I kinda wished Scott had made it more like Hulu’s The Great but I am not sure he is capable!

I had been paying this zero attention as the joker probably one of my least favourite characters ever, but a jukebox musical with lady gaga?  Whaaat?!  I Suddenly I”M the target audeince for a joker movie?!

True, most of what takes place in the book could have easily been faithfully reproduced on film in the ‘60s. The subject matter is what would cause gnashing of teeth and furrowing of brows. Heinlein’s predictions about future American society—especially the rise of mega-churches—will certainly have conservatives…

I’d like to see an anthology series based on Asimov’s robot short stories, with the overlap of characters you could weave those short stories into a larger narrative if you wanted. Just don’t turn it into an action movie like the Will Smith version of “I, Robot.”
