Yeah, when the headline referred to “modern issues” I thought that might mean PrEP, hookup apps, greater gender fluidity... This is frankly distasteful.

As a Floridian, I kind of don’t care how well it’s handled.  I just can’t watch it, maybe ever. 

I loved the original US version, but having rewatched the whole series during lockdown it definitely shows its age in more ways than one, so I think this could be a welcome reboot.
