I don’t understand these drinks. Maybe because I’m in my 40s. But in my mind, seltzer water and any juice with a decent vodka would be far and away a better option. But I (obviously) don’t know.

Deeeee-lightful comment.

Even before watching the videos I could have sung the chorus, but I had no memory of the verses, which are..unusual..to say the least.

Toasted means you are doing it wrong (unless you only have access to poor bagels)

Enough to cover the two toasted halves so there isn’t bagel peeking though.

It’s a fun show, which I like better than the original (it’s an opinion; put down the pitchforks, Charlotte Ritchie fans) and I’m delighted that Rose McIver found her way off the CW.

I like and watch both. I do like some characters better in each version of the show ... and the basement dwellers are way funnier in the British version. I think the CBS version has deviated enough from the original that it can start to become its own show now.

Cue all of the “The UK ‘Ghosts’ is way better’ comments ... 3-2-1 ...

And its still funny today,  sure some ideas are dated but the slap stick and situational comedy is spot in.  Some of it feels old because we have seen it played out a hundred times, but Lucy was doing it first.

Some of these acceptance speeches just always rub me the wrong way, many still seeming to be in the same category as Tom Hiddleston’s Golden Globes speech from 4 or 5 years ago. I agree that the arts are important and actually more important than probably generally perceived, but I just roll my eyes when I see all the

Great idea!

I have a regular discourse as I am obsessed with pop culture which is: you can see a clear evolution of cinematic language, you can see a slight mainstreaming of the gameplay bits, but in the last two decades pop music has stalled hard, super super hard. And not only girl groups: I am a gay old clubber and it

Thanks. Your Drag Race knowledge is better than mine. :)

Honestly, have they ever left someone’s mic on after they’ve sashayed away?

Counter argument , TDK was the worst thing to happen to comics movies ever .It basically promoted the idea that the only ‘good’ comics movies were the super grimdark ,brooding, ‘I’m super super serious you guys*” miseryfests, that appeal to 14 year old boys who think that being moody makes them deep and neckbeards.

And, the car. THE car. That frickin' glorious, beautiful car.

The white makeup atop of Cesar Romero's moustache…Frank Gorshin in that Riddler bodysuit…Julie effin Newmar…there was just sooo much joyous go-go goodness to that show…

It was a remarkably smart show. They even managed to make terrible ideas funny (the Minstrel, or whatever his name is, must be the most incoherent idea for a villain that I've ever seen, but they still get a decent episode out of it). The feature film is genuinely great; it has a bunch of memorable gags ("sea… C for

The Bright Knight and his glorious show is sometimes described as "campy", but I've never felt that was entirely accurate. Rewatching the (gloriously rendered) DVDs recently I came to think of it more as subversive. It really does seem to float on that whole social shift which was taking place at the time, and what
