In Greenland they look around town (village) in the late summer / early fall and decide who is likely to kick the bucket that winter, then before the ground freezes they dig the graves in anticipation.
My takeaway from the article is that a lot of people don’t know the difference between mo(u)ld, moss, lichen, and algae and have been trained to just think “yuck” rather than find out what is going on.
One of the major reasons is that shows and movies are mixed assuming everyone has a multi thousand dollar 5.1 or 7.1 surround sound system. If you have a soundbar or stereo speakers or, heaven forbid, the TV speakers you are SOL.
Roll it into Betterment or Wealthfront as an IRA - simple and easy and doesn’t cost anything
I’d be really curious to see the small print in the Tesla contract that gets them out of delivering what customers have paid for.
Me, too. I’m not in the market for a GM (although I have friends who speak highly of their Yukon Denali), but this would absolutely, 100% be a deal breaker for me.
On the one hand, fuck Putin and everyone associated with him.
The travelators at Montreal Dorval used to be fantastic as they were bouncy rubber underfoot rather than a horizontal escalator which most are.
Not pillorying you - if you are happy to learn.
That’s literally not the EPA’s job. Their job is to set standards to keep air (and other) pollution minimized. The industry’s job is to find ways to do that - maybe following what other countries have managed to do already.
Sorry - I’m from the north, so we didn’t get most of those “booms” you talk of. A little bit of development in Salford and on the Liverpool waterfront, but hardly a boom in either timeline. Which in practice means, “if you violate X, Y or Z, the vehicle will be reported stolen” and you will be menaced at gunpoint by people who might kill you for looking at them wrong.
The old model never got anywhere close to its advertised MPG either. I had one as a rental for ten days and managed 9mpg even though I was driving it normally without any city start/stop or high speed highway trips.
I’m going to call bullshit on the Landrover Discovery numbers - there’s no way on earth JLR dealers are selling almost 1500 NOS Discos that were discontinued 7 years ago.
I’m confused.
How will I carry the 4x8 sheets of plywood and drywall?
I was wrong about size, I’ll admit that. Now will you admit that the Model X looks nothing like a “normal” SUV?
I haven’t heard great things about Hyundai / Kia dealers, but I can tell you from personal experience that I dropped plans to purchase a Lincoln 4 years ago because it required dealing with Ford dealers. The vehicles are great, but the dealership experience is garbage. There’s no way they can compete with Audi, BMW,…
