Can anyone tell me if Peacock has the BSG prequel mini series as well as the actual shows? Because I tried to get into it when the series was on Prime or Netflix (I forget which) but nothing made sense if you hadn’t seen the three miniseries kickoffs and they weren’t on the same platform.

I don’t follow the market as closely as some since a full BEV is not a viable option for me as a single vehicle household. But looking in my somewhat-affluent town it seems like Polestar 2, Kia EV6, Hyundai Ioniq, Volvo XC40 recharge are replacing Tesla model 3s and Ys. This predates Elno’s shenanigans at Twitter,

Then I apologize to you - I was not thinking of those Kimchi jars - I was thinking of the 16oz jars from the grocery store or the farmers market.

I wonder if it’s also that for “average” users these big trucks/ SUVs are barely running at idle 90% of the time because they are designed to haul a 7000lb trailer not two car seats and venti skim latte.

99% chance they will be bought by an established car company in the next 5-10 years. They have good tech but terrible execution and service and their owner is AWOL and saddled with billions in debt. They should sell to GM / Geely / Toyota / VW / Stellantis / Honda / Apple or whoever and get some actual experts on

It’s ironic isn’t it - all the “patriots” buying all kinds of shit from china because it’s $1 cheaper.

I think when the time comes that you will be surprised how much one person amounts too in cremains.  A gallon paint tin would be closer than a kimchi jar (unless you are dividing across a few people).

He was very sick and coughing up blood - basically his lungs were breaking down from the fungus spores growing in them. We were super fortunate that I rushed him to the University of Minnesota Vet School ICU and somebody there recognized what it was. I don’t recall what the blood work or other tests were (it was a

Part of the issue is with the airports having a one-size fits all approach. I just had surgery and I am traveling to the UK next month. While I can walk just fine, I can’t stand in the immigration lines at Heathrow for an hour or more (which is an optimistic estimate in the week before Christmas).

Well - people pay 2-3X the price to buy local at a farmers market or to buy organic. Not everyone, but still a decent proportion of the population.

Maybe this will finally show American companies that planning twelve weeks out for the next quarterly earnings report is not conducive to the long-term health of the economy.

When I lived in Minnesota in the late 1990s my dog contracted blastomycosis. It almost killed him and it was only the ICU at the University of Minnesota that saved him. The drugs to treat it were human HIV drugs which cost $1000 a month in the US. Fortunately I could drive to Canada and buy them for $75 CAD there.

Already exists in the rest of the world - you can buy a Great Wall pickup in Australia and NZ for half the price of a Toyota Hilux - just don’t get in an accident.

I was told first half of 2024 about 18 months ago - and what seemed insane at the time now looks to have been true

Me too - I used to ride thousands of miles a year on the roads, but since cell phone usage became widespread it’s just not safe to share any roads with cars.

Vast majority of airports in the US and Canada were designed before there was any security screening in the terminals. Pittsburgh was unfortunate in that it was built only a few years before 9/11 and had to be reconfigured.

I lived in Duluth MN in the late 90s / early 2000s. Lived ten minutes from the airport so I would leave home 30-40 minutes before the flight time. Never an issue.

Between 1972 and 2001 you could just stroll up to any (domestic) gate in the airport. How many hijackings were there in 1999 or 2000?

No.

I believe you are misunderstanding the statistics - this is not based on a perfect distribution for regions compared to the country as a whole (which in itself would assume that wet/dry is normally distributed against time, which it is not).
