I’ll see many of them in my small New England coastal town. Sailers *love* AWD wagons - I counted 18 XC70s one day last summer (in a town of 1000 people) and there are at least 5 or 6 A4 allroads.

I believe it was Volvo that signed a joint-venture agreement to produce trucks in China in the early 2000s and they found out that China had built a replica factory to produce identical, but cheaper and locally-branded, trucks in a factory that was set up identically.

You are missing Electronic Travel Authorizations which are becoming increasingly common. The US requires them for citizens of many countries as do Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and India (I’m sure there are many others)

Allegros were horrible when they were new and only got worse with age. That’s why they are vanishingly rare now - most of them rusted to scrap in the first 5-7 years. Making it to 100,000 miles would be a miracle.
