I was in Romania in 1999 and it was weird to be in Bucharest or Timisoara and have 90% of all the vehicles on the road be Dacias and (to a lesser extent) Oltcit. There were also only a few colors available - so it was super disorienting to see fairly heavy traffic but with only 3 or 4 different models of car.

180,000 miles on a 2011 is 20,000+ miles a year. Internet tells me that Dodge recommendation for the 5.7 hemi is 10k oil change interval. Could it be as simple as the fact that the recommended oil change interval is too long or that the owners are putting cheap oil in AND leaving it too longe between changes? 

I live (year round) on the CT coast and we are getting the same - people not as rich as the Hamptons folks - but all the closed-up second homes on the waterfront now have the cars with MA, NY, CT, and VA plates outside.

And it can all be paid for by undoing the 1.5 Trillion dollar tax cuts they put in place.

And how long will it take to set up the bureaucracy for means testing, analysis, paperwork, forms, etc.
