I mean, it wasn’t even really a movie. It was the first three episodes of the show slapped together. The story is that Lucas just walked in one day and was like: “This is a movie now.” Unconcerned by the consequences of such a thing.

I’m sorry, but no, that does not make me an enabler. He can still get his reward and never work on another project again. Or he can, and the work is shunned by the public because of his actions and doesn’t make a dime, forcing him out of the scene and move on. The award doesn’t nullify other potential consequences.

They’re not giving him an award for groping women, or whatever he did, he was going to get an award for his contributions to video games. Such an award can’t possibility tell him that everything he’s ever done in his entire life was a-okay. Christopher Nolan can’t win a grammy for Dunkirk.

At the very least, as a spectator. Smash 4 is too slow. Melee is a spectacle to behold with its speed an unpredictability.
