It really is all about the big sob stories with maybe 5-10 minutes of actual coverage sandwiched in between. I disagree. I honestly do not think that Erdely should ever be able to get work as a journalist again. She wanted to write a sensationalist article and she did, without doing her due diligence, and in doing so I genuinely think that she set back the national discourse about campus sexual assault.

I actually wouldn’t vote for locking her up, either. I mostly just think the ban should be permanent rather than for a couple of years. I actually think that might cause her some pain, as she appears to have a genuine interest in hiking.
