First Law is great too. I would say it’s different than ASOIAF, though, which is more political in nature. First Law is very imaginative, and Abercrombie builds a cool world. However, after reading ASOIAF and Wheel of Time, First Law felt rushed and a bit topical. Just my O-pinyon.
