Honda is so bad about this.

How about colors in general?! There are so many makes and models where you can’t even GET color anymore. It’s just swatches of greys, blacks, and whites on a lot of car customizers, MAYBE an army green or a dark maroon if you are lucky, but come on! What I see is the biggest reason why I don’t think AV5 will work in my lifetime.
True a lot of specalized business programs have issues moving to a new OS. We had an old DOS based database that shit the bed when we moved to Windows 7 and had to pay for a new program to be written. But that is kind of the purpose, get as many unneeded vehicles as possible off surface streets and onto a road built only for vehicle travel to get from point to point.
It’s pork barrel spending. And a massive land grab.
You alluded to it in the last paragraph, but I thought I would expand on that point more. The entry fee itself isn’t the real point of contention, it is just the latest beach head in the war. None of which has anything to do with the actual quality of racing, of course. Thats Formula 1!
Reds are sturdy boys!
For (relatively) cheap sewing machines, check out pawn shops and estate sales.
i rotate my bedsheets and won’t keep the dirty ones stuffed in the hamper until i need fresh sheets.
