I would add Toyota to that list. They spent a ton of money, and their first “season” was dedicated to testing only. After the 2006 season, their performance really dropped off a cliff.

I was just about to say this. Use some good food grade mineral oil and make sure you clean the board properly, and you’re all good to go. I refinished an old board with a good sanding, a full cleaning and reconditioning it with some beeswax/mineral oil mixture. Worked like a champ.

True - as you said, F1 is a completely different animal. Hopefully they’re up to the challenge if that really does happen. The stakes will be much higher.

Photography can start simple with your phone, and you can find some relatively cheap SLRs, but the lenses are what make the difference and they cost $$$.

I used one of those back in the day. Good times. Also had one of those old Polaroid camera from the 70's too.

I just use a passport. Why bother with one of those RealID cards in the first place? I don’t need one.
