Only the most hardcore audiophiles will ever see the value on headphones that cost $2000+. You would need a $10,000 stereo setup to get the most out of them. A good set of Sennheisers, Bose, Sony, etc. for only $150-$400 (depending on what you’re after of course) will give you plenty of bang for the buck.
As a professor, often we’re just fine with the previous edition as the concepts will literally remain the same and only the problems change slightly. Ask before you purchase of course. You can often get the book from students who just took the course, as they’re more than happy to get rid of them.
Obligatory A-10 clip:
If you need an emotional support animal, get a damn teddy bear!
We use GSuite for everything - Excel is only used by a handful of people like me who are hardcore Excel geeks. Yeah, I’ve used LibreOffice many times because they have a portable version I can use on a USB drive when I was out in the field and didn’t have my laptop available, or working on a production system where I…

I have the same problem with broad shoulders, so even if I fit in the seat, they stick out a couple of inches on both sides. On some flights I get constantly slammed into by the drink carts.

The math is pretty hard, it requires a lot of training to be accurate (hence a lot of false positives with face recognition and other applications) and yes there are…
Having done my share of computer vision for robotic surgery, this is tougher than most people realize. Making sure that the robot/car/whatever knows where it’s going is critical. It doesn’t take much for it to lose its bearings and go in the wrong direction. We used similar black/white squares for part of our surgical…
I used to watch The Secret Life of Machines all the time. A great series and worth watching.
“Broke” is an excellent video. Very sad and sobering.
If this was even remotely true I would’ve been dead a very long time ago.
