Creme de Cassis is awesome! It’s also good for ice cream too! I have it for making Kir Royale, which I got many people hooked on because of the taste. It’s a nice change from the standard mimosa!

In my experience the wine isn’t worth cooking with. You’re better off dumping it because any “off” flavors will go into your food and possibly ruin it.
Most of the time I’ve had bad wine the cork itself was fine. You can also put a sample of wine in a glass, swirl it around and smell it. If it seems a bit “off”, then dump it.

You can use your hot water heater for water, which can be used for emergencies. Having small portable stoves with propane or butane also work well for cooking, but having canned/dried foods around work great.
My undergrad school had a bar on campus in the student center. It was a very popular during Monday Night Football.

I stopped using Expedia many years ago because I found it was easier to just contact the hotel/airline/etc. directly and get the same (or even better) price. It’s also easier if something goes wrong and you need customer service, which Expedia and the other services have been pretty bad at.
My 1999 Acura Integra. I got 14 years out of it until I bought a Prius. I wish these were back. A damn fun car to drive and loved every damn minute of it.

I use a grape seed oil blend for sautéing. Works great. I save the extra virgin olive oil for dips and salads.
