You’re right about leaving with dignity. People will never remember what you did for the previous X year, but they will definitely remember how you left. Reminds me of an ex-boss who left with a bang - we were still joking about his exit years later.

Obligatory:

That was hysterical! Nice job!

You’re right about that - their strength of schedule was something like 250 or so, which is really bad.

There’s a beautiful E36 M3 in that lovely Laguna Seca Blue color that’s on West Portal Avenue in SF. Someone who works in the area, and it’s so nice to look at.

I had cloth diapers growing up and my parents either washed them or used a service that would bring fresh clean diapers to your door. Those are still around and my next door neighbors used one.

Most have driers built in but that depends on the model.

I was thinking “Why would they print out porn?” but then realized that’s way too much information.

I can easily see this as the next finance crash. Same with student loan debt. People paying for a car that’s well beyond their means.

Just as bad - I worked at a company where we had a porn server on our internal network, which was for certain people in upper management. It was an open secret. I’ve also seen people downloading porn at various places too, and often had to clean up the mess (viruses, malware, etc.) as well as the videos/pics

Don’t use it in the first place - problem solved.

Already prepping my taxes. The trick is making sure you keep a checklist of items that you need to gather information on. We’ve worked out a set of folders that we use for taxes that helps organize receipts and other items that we use for deductions.

Excellent list - I eventually did find some of them over the years but it took a while. Cantaloop in particular was a tough one to get the name of but I loved that tune.

I always clean while I cook. I picked up that habit many years ago so you don’t end up with a huge pile of dishes at the end to clean. It also makes it easier in a small kitchen because of limited space to put everything. Overall it becomes less work and you enjoy cooking more.

Disney used to make cartoons for propaganda purposes.

That’s how a lot of in-law units were built in SF. According to one contractor who worked on our house, 90% of in-laws in SF were built without permits.

Sounds like he suffers from Steve Sax Syndrome.

I prefer cycling over running largely because of less joint banging and I get more fun out of it, and works as great cardio. Living in SF gives me the additional challenge of hills so I can get a good workout.

It sounds like no toilet either, so it’s either pissing in bottles or stopping at rest stops. Looks nice inside there.

Yes, having driven a couple of trucks and towed trailers over the years, losing momentum is a killer when going uphill. I’ve pissed off a lot of car drivers because of my tactics and driving in their lane which slows them down, but it’s necessary to keep going. Otherwise it’s a real bitch to continue and you might not
