Yes - reminds me of one schoolyard punk from high school who thought he was hot shit because he was a rent-a-cop security guard. He got a high out of doing “law enforcement”, which is scary. These people don’t deserve to be police.

If you want better cops in this country, one simple thing is needed: actually punish those who fail to follow laws and policies. Holding people accountable for being shitty at their job is how most industries work. Somehow the police seem above that...

I wonder that too - I’ve seen scales off by as much as 10 pounds when checking in bags. Ridiculous, especially when that’s the weight they use for charging for a bag that’s too heavy.

I’ve had other airlines try to pull this shit with me. You just need to push back. This is why I triple check the weight of bags and even use an empty scale at the airport that’s not being used. There’s a LOT of variation on weight that’s reported.

I looked at WowAir a while ago. After you added up the extra charges it ended up being the same as the other airlines. The only thing they didn’t charge for was the bathroom, and it wouldn’t surprise me if they’re working on that.

Most of my performance reviews have been bullshit, which is why I never take them seriously anymore. I’ve only received honest feedback from a couple of managers over the years, which was helpful for me because I was able to make some great improvements from it.

I remember the odd-even days for getting gas. For those not in the know - you could only fill up based on the last number on your plate. If it was odd, you could only fill up on odd days. Same went for even numbers.
