I just prefer to get out of my chair and take a 10-15 walk, especially if it’s nice outside.

My sister got some car seats recently and within two months they were deemed “illegal”. I thought she was joking.
Yeah...I realized that after I couldn’t edit. Was thinking umpire, typed ref.. Oh well.
I’ve had catchers run into my line of running at the last second and had no choice but to run them over. I was at full speed and I knocked the catcher back about 6 feet. Ref didn’t say a word.
You’re right - many cars used by MTA are older than our systems have been around.
Thank you for posting this pic! First thing I thought of!
Here in the Bay Area, Bart is from 1972 and Muni Metro is 1980. They’re not young either. They’re having trouble with parts for Bart because it’s based on 1960's technology and virtually all of the system is custom-made.
I’ve been through HK, Beijing and Wuhan subway systems during rush hour. I wish I had pictures to show the sea of humanity that they transport in a day. Just nuts - then people here in SF bitch about Bart and Muni without realizing how good they have it.
I always used CliffsNotes - never bothered to read the real book since it was easier. Plus, I was too fucking lazy and it I ended up learning more about the story in the first place.
Here in SF buses run from 1-5am, which makes sense. Here’s a good Al Jazeera link about MTR’s business plan. Mind you it’s very different from anything that would fly here, but there are some ideas.
I’ve never had to take my shoes off at any airport except here in the US. Go figure.
I’ll bet $1 million that none of these folks go to jail.
That was a very obvious handball which should’ve been called - along with a red card for the player.
I did the same thing too...my coffee clearly hasn’t kicked in yet. :)
I love trash!
SF isn’t well, bad but there’s a lot of room for improvement, especially if you live toward the avenues like I do. Some places have no service at all, and yet a lot of people live there and have to take other alternatives to downtown.
Spot on - we have that problem here in SF. It’s an all-out assault on cars, while failing to improve the basic Muni service so it can work better.
Came here for this!
