Jesus. What is/has been going on? I mean, I know, but for fuck’s sake.

Yeah, I was going to say that.
That’s the REAL reason Stranger Things is so scary.

I have no problem with acknowledging frequently and loudly that Jefferson raped his slaves, but there is a crucial difference - Jefferson, unlike your average Confederate leader or general, is not being honored for going to war to defend slavery.

You don’t have to get so pissy about it. Make one little mistake on this site and urine trouble.

How was it remastered for 3D? The answer is alway ‘badly.’

All I can remember from my 20s was Al Capone dancing the Charleston on top of a flagpole.

It’s not as bad as Facebook, but it may be even worse than Tumblr. Geocities4Life.

Yeah, had to chuckle with that one too.

Sharper Image!

It’s an interesting commentary on current events but gets boring real fast.

You know the answer to that.

This is FASCINATING. Two people interpreting this allegorical incident as representing diametrically opposed positions on the political/philosophical scale. Never have I seen such clear evidence that these behaviors are identical, despite supposedly being “right” or “left”.

How do you know the guy was a liberal? He sounded more like a jingoistic Right Winger complaining about some guy he didn’t like wearing the flag

The optimism of The Orville is great.

I think you missed the point entirely, it’s about democracy and how it can be abused. Its about a society that has a social network as it’s justice system and just how bad that would be. It’s also a social commentary of how people vote based on opinion and how just because everyone agrees doesn’t make something right

I normally agree with your reviews, but I think you’re missing a huge point in this. Firstly, pointing out that two shows already did a “people rating system” concept doesn’t suddenly negate the need for other explorations. They both did analogues of the eventual way that social media will be used to rate us, much

Yeah, I definitely think Splatoon was a turning point, and a huge one, just not the only one - it was part of a long five to seven year period.

Dude, when I was a kid and had an N64 on pre-order, I had a dream the night before it came out that Super Mario 64 totally sucked.

I like this lives update, picking up the coins where you died reminds me of a less extreme version of what Shovel Knight does

Possession mechanics aren’t all that new in games - Nintendo’s own Kirby’s has had the ability to suck up his enemies and steal their powers for years - but what’s interesting is that Mario’s capture mechanic in this game seems to occupy a sort of middle ground between problem solving and emergent gameplay.
