I can’t help but laugh that it’s a document from EA and they actually use the word “exploitation” in relation to what they are going to do with a product. I know it has proper meaning in this sense, but there are so many other words they could have used without sounding like they are being run by a Bond villain.

I know,it was in passing because I noticed the embargo reminder on the document.

Pretty much. It’s easy to talk about taking the high road, until someone in charge says otherwise or suddenly the amount of people providing you with access to revenue streams drops significantly.

Go back to this time last year on Kotaku and check out the issues with exactly that and Assassin’s Creed Unity.

It’s not about “turning it into a success just with X name attached”. It’s about the quality of the VA and feeling authentic. Most games try sell you on an “adventure” or “role” or “experience” and they need the quality of the VA to match the visuals, gameplay, etc.

I like to throw in an additional point that no one seems to bring up. I may use the wrong words to express it, but the sentiment still stands.

I was typing out a short reply, then I figured “I can misuse a meme for this!” so behold my creation!

Happens a lot. Of course he has many of anime, games and cartoons, as do all the other actors. But last I checked, Blum still held the guiness world record for most prolific male voice actor in video games.

This is actually a common reaction, most people think “main character VA” automatically. :)

It’s not the “OPness” of the shotgun I have beef with, but for all 3 main gears games, the entire multiplayer aspect, tactic, plan, strategy, EVERYTHING was based around the shotgun. That isn’t even an exaggeration, I played all 3 gears games for years, I was a beast, I used and abused it, but I’m not blind to how

Male #1 Steve Blum

I said male, so #1 is Steve Blum ;)

I was waiting for someone to post something like this lol. I would say “it boggles my mind why everyone uses Troy Baker imagery for VA stuff!” but I know it’s because he’s still the hot topic ever since 2013 (he still had significant work before then, but 3 high profile roles in a year really brought him to the public

It won’t improve by much. Sure it’s broken beyond belief now, but the fact of the matter is the shotgun in Gears multiplayer has always been fundamentally broken.

I remember seeing somewhere recently they want to bring this back for Xbox One, with all the hardware, network and other types of improvements that have been made since last time. I personally never bothered with it on 360, but all my friends were all over it.

The biggest offender of the last few years was either Dark Souls 1 or 2 (haven’t played either) but the way I understand it, since it was tied to 30fps (or less because 7th gen consoles) when they ported it to PC they never changed it, and your weapon would break 2-3 times faster because of the extra frames of the

Tales Of Zestiria is the latest “offender”. I have no idea if it has anything to do with these curators (I honestly haven’t even stopped to look at any of them for a split second since they were added) but it’s the 1st “Tales Of” game to come to PC. It was announced a week or so ago that the PC version is just a PS4

I bet we can still reply with emoji faster than he can.

Am I missing something? Here in Ireland they sell generic, black 1TB PS4’s

I actually gave up on Arkham Knight just a few days ago. I got a free PC copy from a friend (came with his GPU) as a thanks for helping him build a new PC. Naturally the game was a shambles and even the latest patch can’t entice me to come back. So a few days ago I just realized I didn’t care any more and asked a
