Selectively interpreting the Bible is hypocritical, but I think that misses the larger, valid point of this article, which is that the need to drum up controversy and debate every issue is a disservice to an intelligent discussion of that issue, particularly when you blur the lines between news and opinion.

I actually disagree. Only one of her points deals with the money situation (which is, indeed, ridiculous) or even the time/energy.
