I loved my ‘73 Gremlin X, which I coerced my dad into buying when I was just 15. By 1977, it was mine! It was cheap but cool and, despite the impossibly-heavy steering, tiny rear seat, and it’s tendency to skitter sideways over railroad track, I still loved it. The short length, the tight turning radius, and the

I never knew that manufacturers issued a limited set of key combinations until I got in somebody else’s 1973 AMC Hornet that – from the outside anyway– looked exactly the same as mine. I unlocked the car, sat in the seat, and quickly realized that not only was the seat in a different position, but all the

I feel like the only vehicle that would get me to consider an EV would be if Honda reintroduced our favorite toaster on wheels as the new E-lement. Yeah,  it’s a unicorn, but one can dream!

I was sooooo sure that this was an AI creation when I first saw the photo but, after clicking on the article and finding out that this was actually a real thing, my view of reality was forever altered... what a wonderfully bizarre world that can have such a vehicle exist in it!

While the Feds concentrate on regulating/banning these barely-distracting funny messages, they’ve allowed dashboard touchscreens to go completely unregulated. What the actual eff?

My kid almost bought a Red Bull Mini (sans-can) back in 2012 but, after reading about all of the abuse these cars endured at the hands of the young Wings Team members, it didn’t seem worth the risk. They are still out there though: I just saw this one (re-skinned as an Eagles fan car) on FB Marketplace just a few days

All of these, as featured here on Jalopnik almost 10 years ago: https://www.flickr.com/photos/36992627@N06/sets/72157637897942075/with/10973968454/

It’s very sad that Honda continues to remain silent toward the idea of an Element reboot. Seems like a no brainer to me, especially if reintroduced as an EV!

Watered down from the concept has been a constant cry of disappointment for many decades now for me. This is just another pickup truck, with nothing to distinguish itself from the rest of the (battery) pack. Yawn. Sadly, there’s no Revolution left in the production truck... REV just stands for Regular EV.

The Honda Element is the first choice for me: flat floor with plenty of room for a battery pack, good ground clearance and, most of all, access to all of that newly-frunkified ex-ICE empty SPACE under the hood! Though my fingers are crossed until Honda comes to its senses and releases a NEW E-lement, I would love to

My daughter owns this ‘17 RS Turbo and loves it! She traded in her ‘03 Mini Cooper for it and this car still attracts a lot of attention because of the color.

Hmmm... I’m only seeing it at $289.96 minus a $90 coupon, which equals $199.96.

There! I fixed it!

It looks like a close cousin of the Toyota TJ Cruiser concept, a car on my wish list to replace my aging Honda Element, if the TJ ever sees the light of day. I’m still holding out hope for a re-release of the Element too!

This was the inspiration for how I intended to paint my custom ‘66 Dodge van back in the late ‘70s, but doing a large-scale smoothly-painted gradient proved to be way beyond my artistic skill set so, sadly, that never happened. Always have loved the look though...

Waaay back in 1990, I designed a personal commuter trike that - though I was working with some smart people on development - never got past the model stage. (Back in the ‘70s, I really really wanted to design cars for a living... yeah, that didn’t happen either!) But the relevance here is that I proposed that it would

Doing my part! (Well, it’s actually my daughter’s Sonic Turbo, but I do get to drive it once in a while!)

Gremlin all the way! I had a new 1973 Gremlin X all through college and – except for the incredible effort in took to turn (or park) at slow speeds (the manual steering sucked) – it WAS a pretty sweet ride. I always could squeeze into the tiny parking spaces that nobody else could... that activity alone was great for

After reading this entire comment thread to see if anyone would mention Alien (thanks, Sean!), it should be noted that – when I saw it in the theatre waaay back in 1979 – Sigourney Weaver was still a relatively-unknown actress, so when the Captain got killed off early on, it was a BIG DEAL. I remember thinking, “Holy

Yeah, classic 6x9 ovals would have been the way to go! Not sure if you can even get those anymore though...
