Was just recently introduced to the show by family that’s been into it, and caught up rather rapidly over the past month. I’d concur with most here, finding the “Citadel life sucks” montage a bit long, the opening absolutely awesome (I love that ‘he’ seems somehow ever so slightly off even in that opening; fantastic

Yeah, Monster has Monster Tour Water which isn’t on the market but is straight-up canned water in Monster Energy branding.

True enough. In this case, it was released a good few years before Nintendo became infamous for this kind of enforcement, though.

I hate to be nitpicky, but because someone’s going to do it anyways:

I hope Formula E doesn’t suffer for something that happened in Formula 4. (That being said, first I’m seeing of any of F4 this season, too.)

They did that with Anime Boston. Still remained a clustercuss, line-wise.

I remember when Burnout: Paradise got a patch increasing the time limits on end-game stuff so more players could finish it a long while after release. It got me to come back to it and get more DLC, so if it’s unanimously agreed “hey, this is a bit much”, seems fine by me to scale it back.

DiRT Rally. Lots and lots of DiRT Rally. I’ve got plenty of racing games on my wishlist, plenty of stuff in my backlog, but as much as I love plenty of different disciplines of motorsports, the physics and track design in Rally just feel... right. The easier courses make for a nice Sunday drive, and the harder ones

The move to e-sports and straight-up sim racing is one that’s either going to work spectacularly or backfire spectacularly. Symbolically lighting the old series on fire while scoffing at features of past games really, really does not endear me to them as a GT6 fan with a lot of other sim-racing games on my plate.

I keep trying to watch it, but, well, there’s just no overtaking, so I haven’t been much enthused no matter how nice the tech is, and how much I support that. I really want to like it, but it hasn’t excited me.

Dude, Majin Buu’s in the roster, I’m happy. Just give me three of him.

Easier to model lifelike machinery than it is lifelike humans.

It floors me that they announce that after spending the whole presentation hyping up their story modes in their sports games.

Oh, trust me, a lot of people were looking on the replay, at least. It’s a really contentious finish at the moment.

I’m genuinely interested in this and can’t fathom why there’s a massive overwhelming wave of disappointment here in the comments and among friends.

If I never see a random weapon-mod/car-part card drop system again in my life, it’ll be too soon.

Forza Motorsport 6 getting a full PC port including the NASCAR expansion. Or, much more preferable and even less likely, the new Daytona USA coming to PC and/or consoles.

The racing game genre has been called so much worse that I actively want this label to stick now.

There are mods on PC to port Big Surf Island back, at least, but they lack the events and break the minimap.

This was exactly my thought. NFS: The Run, Rivals, 2015... and, though a different dev, The Crew especially, sprang to mind, shoehorning awful plots in in a way that was actively intrusive and detrimental to the game.
