Film production worker, here.
ThorQuill CONFIRMED!
Agree on the stance. The crossguard and the pommel style on the sword look very Euroepan. Lin’s other sword kinda looked like an old Han dynasty jian which could get really long, though I don’t know if that wide.
Wow.. it really sucks getting old....
Predictably, fans all over the internet are climbing over each other to say that Marvel does not owe Joe Casey anything. After all, he signed a work-for-hire contract. So now, without a thought for the gap between law and decency, they just want him to stop complaining.
I definitely respect anyone balking at the theater experience or movies with a brutal runtime (I mentioned in the Grindhouse thread the other day that the main reason it tanked was that two-movies, three-hours of a specifically niche type of movie was an especially hard ask, and maybe shouldve been better…
I still enjoy going to the theater but that’s because the theater near me has full size reclining armchairs. otherwise I would agree, no way I’d be hanging out in a stadium seat for 3 hours.
If Richard Linklater had expressed a pronoun preference it’d probably be mentioned on Wikipedia, so [citation needed]
It’s “*thou* tedious little shit,” since we’re being so careful about our singular pronouns and all.
I get that new concepts and words can be hard. The singular “they” in English only goes back to the 14th century
Oh fuck right off.
Learn English. They is a very common singular pronoun, and has been long before trans folk started using it.
For sure they're not mutually exclusive! The one thing that unites all humans is we have both assholes and the potential to be assholes.
Not a chance. Announcing a show starring a deaf, Native American, physically handicapped actress/character, and then suddenly at the last possible minute saying “SURPRISE! It’s actually a white dudes show!” ?
According to costumer Stacey Caballero’s resume on her personal website, both Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio will return for the Echo spinoff series at Disney+. [Comic Cook]
You’re a hero for sharing this anyways. Take your star.
Thanks.
Slyde. Definitely Slyde.
I think that’s cool and I’m happy for him.
