Judo isn’t kung fu, Japanese isn’t the same as Chinese. Here, let me help:

The sword? Could be a jian, though I agree that the style of crossguard makes it look slightly more like a European longsword or knightly sword than anything typically Chinese. It’s not quite as bad as the sword that Lin Lie was using as sword master (which was just a visual mess), and at least the stance and gestures

I feel like the dead give away that we’re likely to have Danny back at some point is that his full Iron Fist threads are on display alongside Lin Lie on the already-released covers for future issues...

Been trying to make this mask for cosplay and... Err... Yeah, it really doesn't work.

Honestly, in the comics at the moment he's barely showing his face (his explanation - he can't stand to look at himself in the mirror), so for future Moon Knight appearances, it wouldn't be hard to partially or totally recast, as we might not be seeing Isaac's face from under the mask at any points anyway.

Sir Logan, I believe Mr Bricken is aware of your points of contention and was indeed making an attempt - American as it may be in its sensibilities - at humour, and we should take his comment as such in jest only.

This is literally the only movie I want to see right now - one of the only films this year that I’m excited for - and it has no UK release date yet.

Hmm, the line I was referring to was when Garfield said “at some point, I stopped pulling my punches”, implying he went to far and potentially deaths were caused through the use of his spider-strength. It’s possible that Sandman died sometime after Spider-Man 3 without Maguire-Man being directly responsible, either as

I think the implication of NWH is that ASM Pete killed some of his villains in the interim- perhaps most notably Connors, since he was definitely still alive at the end of the first two movies.

Yes - I agree. I’m secretly hoping for a moment where someone else says “Oh, so that’s why your accent sounds so fake.” “May ak-sent sounds faaaayk?” “Uh, yes, Steven. Fake as hell.”

Honestly - most of the dialect coaching on Marvel projects seems to be pretty bad. This goes for the Brits as much as anyone else (Benedict, looking at you buddy). Heck, even Sir Ben Kingsley’s attempt at Liverpudlian is pretty bad, and he’s a Yorkshireman, it’s virtually adjacent.

From a British perspective - it’s not just that it’s “bad” (those are a dime a dozen, sadly) but actively painful and unpleasant to hear. I get that this is a thing that a lot of Americans won’t understand, but yeah.

Honestly, a bit of proper cockney would be a breath of fresh air after... whatever the heck Isaac’s doing here.

I’ve “only” lived in London proper for about three years, but I’ve always lived within about 60 miles of the capital. And dear god does it sound bad. Not just “odd”, but if I heard someone speaking like that then I’d assume they were taking the piss and trying to make fun.

My guess - about even odds between “reboot with Geralt”, somehow continuing from the point Witcher 3 left off with Geralt in the lead (but a new overall aim), or a brand new Witcher leading a brand new series.

The recent comics lean into Marc’s DID being completely unlike how anyone else would experience it, and explain it as being a result of his mind being irreparably warped by direct contact with an ancient extra-dimensional alien entity (Khonshu). Basically, Marc has a unique form of magical brain damage that just

Hey, thanks for mansplaining Moon Knight to me! I've actually read 100+ issues of appearances of the character, including a good chunk of the new run, the entirety of the three or four runs preceding that, some solo appearances dating back to the 1980s, and a whole bunch of "guest appearances" in other comics, so, uh,

The Asgardian accents in general get a pass from me - Asgardians were never meant to speak “real” English but instead faux Shakespearian English. In the comics, their font is usually super stylised to highlight that they don’t speak like Earth humans, regardless of nationality. So yes - Hemsworth sounds goofy and

Isaac's "British" accent remains distractingly bad. Can Marvel not hire good dialect coaches? Almost everyone they get to act outside of their native accent sound goofy as heck.

Pretty sure flying mounts are all over the trailers, my dude! I think that gives reasonable grounds to think it doesn't count as a big spoiler
