Mobius is definitely disdainful of Loki’s claim to being a “trickster”! If anything, he’s pushing him to being a better trickster, and what better trick would there be than to be hiding in plain sight as a TVA agent for centuries?

Yeah, I’m pretty inclined to believe the Time Keepers are a fiction created to keep TVA agents in line, or dead, or too atrophied to do their job any more. It’s the kind of twist from the source material that the MCU loves to pull - see the initial treatments of the Mandarin, the lack of Death as Thanos’ lover, etc.

Owen Wilson playing Loki would be a pretty good meta joke about Tom Hiddleston’s very good Owen Wilson-as-Loki impression, and we know how Marvel’s Disney+ shows have leant into meta jokes - Evan Peters as faux-Quicksilver being a brilliant example.

Just a microbiology related moan here, but you can’t culture viruses in petri dishes; the agar that they’re filled with is an inert food substance, but viruses can’t reproduce or grow on their own. They need living hosts to do it for them!
