Not sure which banks you’re going to are “public sector” - that refers to institutions in public ownership, i.e. run by the government. Banks are typically private sector, i.e. owned by private individuals.
The only correct response
Don’t get me wrong, I loved Futurama, but the “world building” in early seasons seemed to amount to a lot of one-off gags that were awkwardly shoehorned back into continuity.
Cirencester being, as far as I know, the exception to the rule.
Same goes for all place names with “cester” in them - Worcester is “wusster”, etc
That would be a fascinating change - especially when almost everyone alive would have to deal with the fact that they have near duplicates who live on a nearby planet.
I can understand why you would want to reduce pressure on individual players to feel like they have to be cobstsbtky pitching to potential signings... But it still seems like any punishment for tampering should be on the team, not the individual.
I'm definitely on board with Lando affectionately referring to Chewie as his boyfriend. That's the Star Wars we all deserve.
I'm pretty sure this is the correct interpretation of how vibranium works and I will ignore anyone who says otherwise 🙃
Jason Aaron's Avengers has been such a sore disappointment - his run on Thor was so incredible, but his writing on Avengers has been pedestrian and dull. It reads like the worst kind of all-ages book - one that tries to pander to kids but will probably bore them as much as it bored adults.
As a civil servant myself, I can absolutely guarantee that this would’ve happened.
Sadly I still haven't seen the Mandalorian (no love for the UK yet) but I’m very on-board with this explanation - it would also chime closely with the old Expanded Universe, where most snipers and sharpshooters used non-blaster energy weapons and “slug throwers” (basically conventional real world firearms).
You, my friend, need more stars for this comment.
I always assumed that was because it didn't fit him right - he's "a little short" and all that.
I mean, it's just a fact that Stormtroopers helmets limit both peripheral and binocular vision. Maybe that's canon too, hence why Stormies can't hit the broad side of a barn?
You’re kind of contradicting yourself here - is the text of Macbeth “incredible” or “falling short of conveying the whole picture”?
I’m not so sure about that - a good stage script can be an incredible read in its own right. Shakespeare comes to mind, as does Journey’s End.
Your dad is the kinda dad I wanna be, but sadly my only kid has four legs, fur and meows loudly instead of asking for Christmas presents...
Saw it last night... I just want to voice that this film had some great creature and costume design, a couple of laugh-out-loud moments, a couple of good though relatively unmemorable action sequences... And was, overall, a steaming turd, the like of which eclipses Solo and all the prequels.
