Some of the Bethesda bugs are subtle - I had a bug affect my Dawnguard playthroughost on Skyrim that caused the Vampire Lord wings not to move. I never realised I was “missing out”. same goes for when certain NPCs vanish due to bugs etc.

Quick tip on the emergency stopping - don’t touch the clutch until you’ve almost come to a stop. I’ve been told that it’s better to stall the bike than pull the clutch in too early and risk losing traction at the rear wheel. In the UK motorcycle test, pulling the clutch in too early on an emergency stop can be a major…
X&Y had a similar feature where non-party Pokémon could be ridden in certain contexts, but they didn’t replace HM moves entirely.
I’d imagined they’d go for some kind of compromise - where you still needed a compatible Pokémon in your team - but didn’t have to take up a move slot by teaching them the HM. Instead, they went the whole hog, completely unshackling team compositions. It seems like the biggest change to the game of the lot - in a good…
Last year I was working with a team that profiles UK high growth companies (for reasons relating to my NDA, I won’t say which one, but it’s probably not hard to work out which publication it was for). FanDuel was, at the time, headquartered in Scotland, though all of their activities were in the US, so moving their…
I certainly don’t know what passes for cheddar stateside, but as a Brit I certainly wouldn’t consider a cheese that melts like that or as bright yellow as that to be cheddar.
My wife is a full foot shorter than me but similarly proportioned (short legs, long torso). We can’t find any furniture that suits both of us for that reason.
Oh man, that’s amazing. I’m super-curious as to how she produced that carbon-fibre like finish on a lot of the pieces (I’m assuming that she didn’t actually craft carbon fibre for this costume)?
Wait. Did I see one of those guns shoot around a corner?
He’s not Clarkson... he’s Clarkson’s Australian cousin!
If I’m not mistaken, I know exactly where this is - it’s not far from the University of Amsterdam’s law school, and I got lost around here the other week while looking for an introduction session for my Master’s degree!
I’ve not yet been to Utrecht, but certainly the picture you posted doesn’t look as colourful or energetic as some of the parts of Amsterdam that I know from living here for the past month or so. I’d love to visit Utrecht, maybe you just chose a bad picture.
Sure, Centraal is absolutely clutered with tourists and…
To be fair, the Heavy in TF2 doesn't use a projectible energy shield to protect others from harm, or a hook and chain to draw foes close to a shotgun weapon...
Wow. Looks more than a little like Overwatch - I’m amazed at how much of it really seems to riff off Overwatch characters and play mechanics. I saw a Reinhardt-like shield, a Junkrat-type rolling bomb, a Roadhog-style hook-chain-shotgun combo...
That big no-step looks like it’ll make a difficult to enter car even more impossible to climb into. I had great fun before trying to twist my limbs into an acceptable configuration to get into that thing without standing on the seat.
It’s considerate for whoever needs a transplant that day.
Looks very cool! I'm a little worried that some of those art assets look straight up ripped from games like Minish Cap though.
Mine actually belongs to a knitting circle called the Drunken Knitwits, very appropriate since they’re a group of 20 and 30 something year old women who meet in pubs and bars. She alternates between knitting and crochet depending on whether or not she’s bored of a particular project yet.
I’ve been deliberately mispronouncing it and calling my wife crotchey (hard t) for as long as I’ve known her.
Guess it goes to the market for these kinds of games-with-toys is starting to get a little saturated - between Skylanders, Amiibos, Lego Dimensions, and the lack of inter-compatibility between each of the four platforms, it seems like it was only a matter of time before one (or more) bowed out.
