Thank you for writing this article! I’ll admit, I wasn’t expecting it to go up so quickly or at all. I hope people had fun watching the matches!

That’s a good point! However, keep in mind that this is South Korea. South Korea is a less confident in women players’ abilities than the United States is, so it’s important to celebrate their accomplishments to show that no, not every woman is boosted by her boyfriend, no, not every woman is a one-trick Mercy main.…
The natural enthusiasm part is a good one. I used to “help” my mother with washing the dishes and watering and weeding the garden because I had fun.
A catch-all term for anyone in the LGBTQA+ spectrum. The acronym gets clunky, so queer’s an easy, inclusive term.
Korean-style pig’s foot, or jokbal.
This is more for the tails specifically, but shrimp tails are delicious fried crispy with a bit of salt. I’m not a huge fan of actual shrimp, but my sister loves them, so whenever she eats shrimp I always get the tails and she gets the meat. My personal favorites were 10, 9, and 7, in that order. I really enjoyed Tellius. The only things I don’t like is that they removed support conversations for 10 and they never made a sequel.
Thank you for that quote! It’s quite lovely.
I have a fondness for Roadhogs in Overwatch because of two separate incidents: both times, I was playing Mercy and was being attacked by a flanker. Both times, a Roadhog noticed and hook-shoot-saved my poor Swiss butt.
In a panel with the character team from Overwatch, they did confirm that Ana wears a hijab on her days off. I think it was at SDCC 2016?
I’m Korean myself, and while I can definitely see where people are coming from when they say it’s creepy, I find it more comforting—makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside.
