I really hope they stick with the suicide doors, from the concept, they're awesome.

My feble brain requires an era for each image, in order to have a reasonable guess.

Agreed, the video needs to be sped up a bit and then yatey sax playing in the background.

Because there’s no slow motion video.... normal speed video will always look fine with LEDs but when you playback slower they could look like they’re flickering. And, a single image taken from that video could pull the exact frame where the LED is off.

Go watch slow-mo video of any vehicle with LED lights, during the normal speed portions the lights appear fully on and then during slow-mo they appear to flicker....that’s because the LED pulse but you cannot see it with your eyes during normal operations.

Could it be that the headlights are LED and when the photo was taken, the driver’s side was in between light pulses, only appearing to be ‘off’ ?   We’ve all seem slow-mo footage where brake lights are pulsing due to the LED programming for heat/brightness requirements...could this be the same for headlights?

Now playing

“For those of you who could care less about NASCAR...”

Good luck getting that mess through the Wendy’s drive-thru.

I love the aggressive approach here but you kinda botched that apex, don't let it happen again.

Yeah, those are a big departure from their M-parallels....lame.

Maybe unfair to compare in the context of this article but as for safety standards, they should be blind to the type of propulsion method, no? We can’t go around having different safety standards for ICE and fully electric or others.

Pretty sure that’s a crummy way of doing a ‘before/after’ or ‘side-by-side’ shot....the title of the image is Pre-peak 2004.

Where does Fancy Kristen fall on this topic.... should we be buying homes with or without functioning luxury cars and if so, which cars and how many?

I must believe that the people who would choose the ticket over a garage are not the same people who typically garage their vehicle, for other reasons. Let’s see what sort of vehicles/condition these people drive....might be an interesting follow-up.

I wasn’t suggesting that the seller shouldn’t have taken/posted this pic, I agree with you that all photos are good for the sale....I was referring to the fact that it was reposted here. Let’s be honest, all potential buyers seeing the car from jalopnik will need to head to the official listing, thereby seeing

Was this photo necessary.... would someone think this thing has a torque converter or flappy paddle gearbox?

Correct on the controls being on the wheel. If I remember correctly it has ATV style thumb push lever for the throttle.

Sometimes replacing a vehicle is more effort than making what you have work. Or, they might want a crossover seating position compared to the Leaf. Also, I looked at the i3 and the amount of miles I drive, makes the lease a very bad option....these people might have a high mileage-daily commute.

Knobs man.....we need knobs!
