The feeling of Aztek is strong in this Yota.

As I much as I hate what Chris has done in the past...I sort of think this works. That said, I cannot really see myself in one.

My comment is not necessarily grounded in any qualified reality...I’ve never ventured in body work so if I were to do this project, I’d start with the drivetrain.  Also, with an engine in and properly functioning mechanicals, you’re able to drive it while you figure out the plan for the body/interior.

Reading what this guy did makes my stomach turn, sorry I asked but it shouldn’t have surprised me.

An engine is pretty important for a 911. Most folks get the mechanics working before esthetics....interesting choice here.

I assume you’re referring to Beach Blvd in north Orange County CA...I grew up in HB and I don’t recognize that creep. I must ask, who was it?

That sounds awesome!

A buddy of mine told of a time his wife was running late to a pot-luck lunch at work, therefore driving a little more aggressively and the entire 3 gallons of blue cool-aid spilled in their new car. To this day he says he can still smell it.

Not as much as you’d think.

I assume you mean Ayn Rand and no, never read her work but I’m aware of what she’s written.

You had me until you said ‘...owe it to people...’

Looks right to me.

“The funny part is either that all these drivers thought they could escape the traffic by traveling a day early or that all these drivers thought they could escape the traffic in LA at all.”

Agreed.... Something’s not quite right but I’m also not complaining

+1 for one of my favorite Twilight Zone EPs

I’m convinced a contributing factor to headliner tenting was driving with the windows down....the constant buffeting slowly separates the fabric, snowballing until it’s a horrible mess.

To be honest, that’s a pass for me, I’m pretty attached to my left, hell I’m partial to both of them.... can’t do it, I’ll watch it on YouTube instead.

Agreed completely but I’m curious Patrick, what would you have these detainees do, in said labor camp? Repair old busted Ladas?

I suppose the only acceptable situation to use the phrase ‘roughly 20 seconds’, is when the Japanese are referring to their train schedule.....otherwise most folks would say ‘rough half a minute’.
