This is a woman choosing to do something in a non-conventional way. She’s not hurting anyone, and her actions have the added bonus of making people think about and debate a current issue, maybe in a different way. As feminists we should celebrate and support her.

Someone in the public eye, expected to be on call to ‘perform’ all the time, has to be under extra pressure when there are mental health issues. I wonder how often these issues are ignored because they are disguised by the expectation of a larger-than-life public persona.
I’ve always felt sorry for Kim, and dismissed Kanye as just a bit of a wanker. But now I feel sorry for him too. Like everyone else, they’ve had a truly shitty year. I hope he feels better/gets whatever help he needs soon.
