Probably by the time the production variant of the X-2 flies, we would then be very ready to sell them F-22s and push them to shut down the X-2.....

If “Stealth” means enemy radar can only detect you 50km away versus being detected 200km away for the “non-stealthy” aircraft, in theory that means you can drop off a crap load of stand-off weapons at 60km away and then ran off without anyone detecting your presence at all. AWACS and fighter patrol would change that…

Tyler, if we have that kind of money, wouldn’t it make more sense to put the SPY-1F (frigate version of the SPY) on some of the LCS?

Or even Lookheed who cranked out half of the LCS vessels think they suck so bad to be not worthy of installing the SPY-1F on it?
