The screen I meant is my phone and the Chromecasts obviously do not communicate with each other but they do show up as separate devices so I can choose which one to cast to so for video I would cast to one attached to my tv and audio I might choose the one plugged…

My only response to that is that with the Pi you would still need to add a screen anyway and with the Chromecast at least the screen goes with you and becomes a remote which can access multiple Chromecasts plus it takes phone calls.

I like the notion of the WiFi network sharing but I do wish I could make a custom list of friends for it to pull from.

You just don’t get it. If you sell a product and a small part of that product performs like crap wouldn’t you want to improve that part? NFL is the product and the teams are the separate parts. Do you get it now? Or are so against socialism that you can’t even see straight with the merest wiff?

It would be socialism if the government gave the teams money. If the league gives the teams money it is ensuring they (the league) have a strong over all product. This shouldn’t take mental gymnastics to figure out.

I don’t see revenue sharing as strongly socialist so much as good sense capitalist. It ensures that all the teams start on a level playing field which is great because can you imagine if the Packers had to rely solely on local revenues? The team would have to shut their doors within a year or two.

To me it’s not that the high speed internet should be free but the fact that to me internet includes being able to email. As for streaming video over the internet that’s a whole other ballgame as the speeds and bandwidth really don’t allow for that and if you do manage it you may be screwing up the service for…
