Good for him/them/et al.—but can these clowns please stop thanking Jesus for being with through all this? I can’t.
Ok. So Kayne is a musical genius some say.
Your point IS wrong. You admit that you are lumping them together. So, nothing I say is going to change your mind because you think all white people are one culture-less lump that are interchangable.
Please, tell me, aside from England and America, well known people of color who are directors and screenwriters from Italy, Germany, Poland and France.
But she DID know enough to comment. If you don’t like what Streep said, that’s your problem, not hers.
“Oh, for God’s sake, stop lumping white people together. I can see if this was a panel of all white Americans. Then you would have a reason to complain. But it actually was an International panel with people from America, England, France, Italy, Poland and Germany. To just call this a “white” panel erases the cultural…
1) Streep, you are a great actress, on the best ever, but public speaking isn’t your strong point.
It bums me out that you pass judgment on candy-pants’ reaction to the conceited knob’s self-rating. we need to stop invalidating other people’s emotional reactions to minor news items.

In my experience American men are more…
I can see how stereotypes might play into that. What I find is that many non-American men approach women like that in general. Most folks outside of the US are more direct and to the point. Doesn’t discount your experience. Just offering another point of view to consider.
In all seriousness, this is why I have chosen to raise kids overseas. I’m still narrowing down exactly where me and Mr. Mo will relocate, but we’re both on board with home being almost anywhere but the US. I lived in Germany...home of the Nazis...for 6 years and NEVER was I discriminated against or made to feel less…
Yeah it seems like an enema that you do of your own desire without a doctor’s supervision. Who comes up with this shit?
Well this has been a fun day on the Internet goodbye forever. *dies*
Oh dont worry. I dont admire you. Just your intention to help women who have been raped. But apparently unlike you i can feel empathy for all sorts of people.
I think the problem was he didn't say it anything like that and instead did it in a way that attacked her character....
