I had never heard this story so I googled it and man, her “retard baby” comments were absolutely awful, awful, awful.

Since when has AbFab been a part of Hollywood history? British television and movies don’t have the same history with black face that we Americans have. Also-didn’t Margaret lose her ability to be outraged by political incorrectness when she went full throttle on her “retard baby” defense? I know she “apologized” but…

I am waiting for the film to have actually been seen before I am willing to pass judgement.

I dread the day when actors are only allowed to portray what they actually are. It kind of defeats the whole purpose of acting.

Hasn’t AbFab always been offensive though? The way it portrays gay men and lesbian women. The way all women are portrayed as vacuous, high maintenance bitches(it’s high fashion so probably has more than a grain of truth.) I mean talk about bad stereotypes!! They have a white woman playing a Japanese man ... sounds…

Sigh...I think for Cho this is a case of, “It was funny until they messed with my ethnic background.”

While I agree with her premise, I’d just like to point out that this was how Margaret Cho chose to appear on an episode of Family Feud, years ago, complete with Pocahontas references, just in case her “costume” was lost on you. I guess personal growth is a positive thing.

To be fair “Absolutely Fabulous” is in fact SUPPOSED to be politically incorrect and insensitive. This is part of the satire. And they have a woman playing a man. I’m guessing that it will be an over the top satire as well. And I’m guessing a lot of their humor will offend someone.

I was HOPING she meant she’d be putting cheese from the wheel in pasta and risotto for years to come - that is one giant wheel of fromage.

I mean, I enjoy Margaret Cho, but can’t this show just die already?

Jailed. Not removed from the bench. Jailed. And I hope they file a lawsuit claiming millions for false imprisonment, defamation of character, and emotional.suffering. what a despicable human being this woman is.

I am not trying to start a shit show - this judge’s behavior is NOT ok - but if the mother is truly on her 15th or 16th attorney, she is also not ok and it is therefore, to me, completely believable that she practiced some sort of parental alienation with those kids.

That’s immediately what I thought of as well. And then I immediately wished that she doesn’t have any close friends or family. Because she seems terrible and should be alone at Christmas.
