If you get the chance to check out a slow mo of a dragster launch those tires are huge and the rubber basically twists around the rims on launch. Not a chance this roadster could have anything close for both size and practicality of being a road car.

This just in… Elon musk lies.

They haven’t styled it. Bring this out you cowards!

A 4+ years old first generation luxury EV lost 50% of their valuation from new?

Hey Rob, the government didn’t give Chrysler a damn cent. They guaranteed the loans, i.e. they cosigned for them. Fortunately, the government didn’t have to take over the payments.

Lucky for us Toyota does offer it with a turbo V6… it just has a Lexus badge and starts at $64,250.

My buddy has a Mach-E GT so I’ve spent a lot of time in it. He drives it the way that few people drive electric cars. If there is not traffic in front of us we generally do 0-60 in 3.5 seconds from every single stoplight. It’s a fun car and a great highway cruiser.

I am not seeing the discounts on new but I do see many 2022 Mustang Mach-E GT’s for $39,999. That is a hell of a drop for that vehicle. At that price with the upcoming access to the superchargers its a pretty screamin’ deal.

I am already blinded by the time the turn off. And that is if they turn off.

I used it on a rental in Scotland last year. It caused more problems than my manually turning the brights on an off by hand.

If most OEM’s implementation of basic Automatic Highbeams is utter shit, I don’t have much hope for Pixel bullshit. Honestly, I’d rather see European taillights than European headlights. All red rear turn signals should be illegal here in the US.

Kids like to follow their parents outside, and if you’re on a mission to get somewhere, it’s really easy to not notice. I lived on a cul-de-sac with a bunch of children for a while, and I got used to just creeping out of my driveway every time just in case, but I still had to tell the kids all around to NOT do

One parent’s leaving for an errand and the other is staying home with the kids.

This is hardly new. Maybe a garage specific designer is new? However, I don’t think.  Remember Ferris Bueller’s Day Off?

No, they would not. I grew up in a rural town, and still spend a lot of time in rural communities visiting family. They don’t want a small basic single cab truck. If this vehicle has any appeal it’s boomers and people living in metro areas.

The problem is, nobody outside of Jalopnik will buy this. We don’t get a 2 door Maverick because it won’t sell.

Yup I didn’t like that about the first ICE models either, but I did like the look of it.
