Sounds like Houston, except it’s WORSE there. Inside the loop the posted speed limit is 55 mph, average speed barring traffic 90 to 100+ and I don’t just mean regular drivers, cops, bus drivers, etc. cruise along at that speed. Coming back from a Christmas party a few years ago around 11ish I was heading north to

But, we don’t make laws based on “well, some assholes are gonna ignore it anyway so why bother.”

There’s always going to be some idiot who drives down my street at 60 miles an hour. But getting everyone else to slow down a little makes a difference in a neighborhood full of kids.

I like it, can't wait to test drive one.  There are times I want a quiet quick smooth EV, and times I miss an engaging ice car, if this makes it fun to drive I may be more willing to go EV sooner than later.  I keep thinking I want one last v8 manual sports car, but know I would generally be better served by an ev,

Would you prefer cheap leather that looks like it has cancer after five years? I took really good care of the decent leather inserts in my Mercedes but that was starting to show wear over time. Yet the “MB Tex” on the bolsters looked like new a decade later. And the vinyl in my 4Runner Off Road looked perfect and

That’s true, but the Element was also an incredibly useful and unique vehicle that, upon cancellation, wasn’t replaced by anything even remotely similar. From Honda, or from anyone else.

Actually, they’re rare enough that if you buy real one, people will laugh and ask why you rebadged that iQ.

“police of California follow the eight-year-old law protecting people’s privacy.” yep - there needs to be justification for the request, and both sides of the data sharing have to agree on the justification based on the law, not the personal preferences of the officers involved.

Its an amazing car, and the exhaust note is absolutely intoxicating. I seriously considered trading my RCF for a CPO LC at a local Lexus dealer; unfortunately it would have to be my daily and I’d have to give up a lot of convenience: interior storage space, cupholders, a small but surprisingly usable back seat that

I used to drive my BMW 850 to the grocery store and to Costco. It loved the cheap gas. I would absolutely drive this to the same.

I mean he was revving it at a car show to people that wanted to hear it. How is he in the wrong here?

Needs to drop even further for me, but I’ll take mine in Nori Green, very handsome cars.

Rule #2 is that convertibles with backseats are lame.

With the Prius and PT Cruiser already mentioned, I’m gonna nominate the Mazda 3... with the rust...

Honestly the whole Nissan lineup was pretty good at this point. They built a lot of brand loyalty in the late 90's through the 00's with these things, which buoys their current lineup of forgettable crap.

I think that’s a great one, because it exemplifies the American morale arc of the aughts. We entered the 2000s bright and hungry, were made culturally stronger after the 9/11 attacks, engaged in a period of commercial excess during the early part of the decade, were hit hard by the 2007 recession, and ended the decade

That gen Altima was a really huge deal for Nissan. I remember every car magazine at the time it came out was filled with marketing for it, and it seemed like it was featured in almost every road test, especially the V6 version. I’d almost go so far as to say that it was very far ahead of its time.

Do I need to say more? Built from 2001-2010.

We’re really going to overlook something else with clear tails that was much more culturally resonant at the time it came out?

Obviously on supercars if you’re not changing wheels the OEM tire is likely the best option. However, on a more normal car, there’s a few questions to ask before making the decision.

If the OEM tire is PS4S, yes. If not, get PS4S.
