The bigger issue is if they can make a car that doesn’t fall apart.

Does the regular Giulia sound particularly good? The Quadrifoglio sounds amazing, but I think the regular direct injection four-cylinder sounds pretty much like any other DI engine.

I’ve never heard someone be so negative on the transmission in this car. Biggest complaint I read is the 2-3 spacing isn’t great, but never read that it was “reallyx3 sucked”. 😀

First of all inflation is cooling.

In addition, we all also “feel it” in the form of our health insurance premiums and healthcare costs.

I’ll put it right out there: these aren’t as good as a Miata. Everything is just a little worse. The interior is my least favourite part of the car (and I’ve shared the story of cutting my finger open on the cheap plastic in one). It’s very clearly a short road trip car with an open sky from all the compromises made.

The Redline is the only Sky I would buy.

I used to think the idea of wireless power for cars was a great idea, but after doing a lot of nerding out on radio waves and learning about EM emissions...I don’t think this will ever work without a huge leap in our understanding of the subject.

Quackwatch entry:

Just move it to Mexico already lol. Way cheaper workers and lack of worker’s rights there.

$250k for a Z4 would make this the most dead-on-arrival car BMW has made... short of maybe the M1. If they sell a dozen at that price I’ll be amazed.

Bought a new car about a month ago. Emailed 15 dealers with the one we wanted in stock. Only half got back to me, one with $10k over sticker. Drove 2 hours with a Uhaul trailer to pick up one at MSRP but the dealership was absolutely wonderful to work with. Got me in and out in one hour and was well worth the drive

So, the issue with this article is that it is only talking about publicly owned stores, which are some of the bigger stores in the country. And that is only an estimate, which I am not sure how they are calculating that.

Yeah I spent most of my life in South Florida and have been through multiple hurricanes where power went out for long periods of time and I can absolutely confirm that when the power’s out you’re not getting gas either. You fill up before the storm and limit your driving (if the roads are even passable), I imagine

You know what else runs on electricity? Gas pumps.

$6.5 million average per dealer in profit? Where are you seeing that?

When I started driving years ago, I got a valuable lesson. The car next to me had stopped and I just drove through. There was someone crossing the street and I fortunately didn’t hit them. Lesson learned - when you see a vehicle stopped - even if there is no crosswalk, at least slow down and look around.

The lesson I

Why not just call it the Q6 or QE6 or something like this? Given that the Q8 already exists as a gas powered SUV along with the fun SQ8 and unhinged RSQ8, this just adds more confusion to the lineup.

Mr. Kelleher added. “Because of the interest-rate climate, we have to think differently now.”

Racists are stupid and it’s a shame this dick didn’t get even more of a comeuppance.
