Pretty much all crossovers are “tall wagons”, especially during this era, since they were derived from platforms that were originally designed to be cars and later scaled up to their limits.

I’m not sure the 4.0 GTS is actually for sale. Porsche has it on their sites but I’ve never seen one for sale new.  The only ones I see are used for 110-120k.

With how much their MSRP goes up each year, I fear the 911 will be like the GT-R and basically never be affordable. They’ll lose no value for the first 10 years, slightly depreciate the next 10 proportional to necessary maintenance, then become appreciating classics after 20 years.

That’s a lot, considering there aren’t that many car companies and most have more pragmatic names, like being named after a person, place, or having a generic name that’s some derivation of “car builder”.

so it’s got a lot of life left to live.

These aren’t theft deterrents at all. Head over to some subreddits for cars known to stolen frequently (Camaro, Challenger) and you’ll see tons of manuals being stolen. The manuals in them fetch a good price on the used market.

Shop around, there’s tons of them available in the midwest at a discount. One dealership in Indianapolis I found apparently has about a dozen for sale - all of which are $2-6k under MSRP.

Funny how apparently the midwest is the Z capital of the world. With the weather still being nice, I’ll see 3-4 a weekend.

Audi leans too much on their styling, and their general design language is a little stale. Just about everything they make has this muted Generic Euro Hatchback look to it.

Honestly, it just looks like a terrible body kit. The front fenders and grill are knock-offs, but the rest doesn’t match at all.
