>I know couldn’t tell you 3 vehicles made by the OEM I work for and it is in the top 3 producers in the world.
There are some people who want cars built by a white supremacist POS con-man. But they don’t want EVs.
How’s another disappointing economy car going to save their reputation?
Anyone mourning the IDx who doesn’t have a BRZ, 86, or 370Z in the garage was never going to buy it. They’d just find an excuse why it was inferior to Mustangs/Camaros/GTIs then drive away in their CVT Rogue.
Finally, a real answer! (someone seriously suggested a Chevy sedan...)

It’s not $36k though, not really. Generally, to compare car prices in UK vs. USA, you just replace the £ with a $. So a £28k would be roughly $28k. Remember that taxes are included in the price for UK vehicles. And this is a top spec trim, which is 30% more expensive than the base.
Generally speaking, car prices are 1:1 £:$, even if the currency exchange rate isn’t. So would be a $28k vehicle in the USA.
