BOSS 302Rs were 80k back in ~2012, and the only ones I saw at dealers were in the low 100s. GT500s were like 50k at the time.
I miss this era of weird, fast European cars. This, and the Saab 9-3 Viggen were cars I lusted after. There’s something about the idea of an unassuming car that were pretty quick that really appealed to younger me.

Right, but this is the classic issue when a brand buys another that is a tier above them. Ford doesn’t want it to look like Volvo is the superior brand. Hell, sometimes I think Ford struggles with the Lincoln nameplate - and that’s been their luxury marquee forever.
