The takeaway is that there’s all kind of better options than a Stinger if you’re flexible. I mean, if you have to have a TTV6 in a four door car with a weird lift back, that handles like crap, sure Stinger is the answer.

The hybrid was a CAFE inflation car. Ford didn’t expect people to want it anymore than people wanted the C-max. Of course they put minimum effort into it so they could keep the price down, because they expected to dump them on fleets for huge discounts.

These are heavy - more muscle car than sporty car. And, while they aren’t slow, they also aren’t keeping up with the faster cars on the market. A bone stock 5.0 10AT Mustang will obliterate a FBO V6 Stinger in a drag race (I’ve seen it), and on back roads.
