The Elise is never coming back though.

The Evora (and now the Emira) is my dream car. I never pulled the trigger because the only dealer is two hours away and I’m not quite comfortable enough with my wrenching chops to do everything myself.

It’s always easy to justify taxes/fines against wrong doers.

Selective enforcement?

They didn’t face any punishment because these cameras make it so they can’t really do more than levy fines. If they started taking away licenses, then they’d have to do it to so many people that the police would face actual backlash.

The Rimac Nevera is a production car that does it in 8.582 (third party certified) and 8.62 on an unprepped surface.

Dodge’s entire marketing campaign is centered around being the fastest car around. That’s why they are the only company who cares about certifying their car’s 0-60 and quarter mile. Something about certifying a quarter mile has always rubbed me the wrong way; it’s just so vain.

Dodge has never been a “sticker package” kind of company. I think part of the appeal of the Challenger is the sheer number of variants available for people to nerd out on.

Stellantis learned their lesson and will call the 2025 Challenger the dEEEEEmon

or you could just go to a country ass drag strip like the one i have locally and theyll let you run whatever the hell you want.

This is what happened to the Demon too.

Doubt.  Lake effect snow is no joke.

Counter:

Japan wants some degree of energy independence — this is a matter of national economic security for them. Since they don’t have the resources to build batteries, they’ve opt to focus on what they can source, which is hydrogen.

You’re probably right. I forgot that the TLX-S starts at like 55k, so there’s not really much headroom unless they want the Integra Type S to slot above the TLX-S.

but I’m only interested in 4-figure C4s.

ND

More manufacturers should do this IMO

Here’s a review of the Integra Type S for you to...geek out on.

This would make for a fun Toyota/Honda collaboration.
