It’s a shit piece of legislation designed to make people feel good, not prevent DUIs. And I feel like everyone calling this out as a good piece of legislation are complacent and are part of the reason why DUIs are still a major problem.

It won’t be. It was designed with a massive loophole right in the text.

Why just DUI crashes? If this were so important, then this law would apply to every car crash that kills someone. Including pedestrian and bicycle accidents.

I don’t have any non-crappy photos, but my 07 WRX was a hoot. The car was just so capable and grounded that I felt totally comfortable pushing it on back roads. It’s the car that got me back into SCCA courses, since my old Jetta, while quick in a straight line, handled like ass.

TIL the VQ fit in a Sentra.

SRT-4s were incredibly underrated cars.  They get so much hate around here, but it’s good to hear from someone who owns and appreciates them.

I think he felt bad for personally making crypto and the stock market crash.

Infiniti has been using steer by wire for years now.

Counter argument -

Veloster Turbo is definitely the best direct replacement to the Fiat.  Even the automatic versions are fun.

. The gray area though is the portion of the law that exempts commercial or political

Is the reliability any better with these? A colleague of mine had a Mk6 and it has all kinds of weird, annoying issues with it. Not major issues, like turbo failure, but like sensors going out and broken interior bits.

the cars are electronically limited to 115 mph

Wouldn’t rule out a 2011-2014 Mustang GT, 7000 RPM V8 for $20k?

It’s probably the best sleeper on the market. Everyone thinks the V6s are slow and crappy, yet, even stock, they will outrun a lot of cars that people around here would call quick.

And when you put Honda’s smooth-shifting six-speed behind that V6, you get one of the most underrated machines of the last decade.

A couple of those are very clearly ripoffs of other cars. I wonder if they contracted with a design house that repurposed existing models they built for other companies.

I had a friend in HS that insisted the bumps on the hoods of Eclipses were for the turbo.

My MIL is rocking a stock transmission at 130k.

I used to have a Protege wagon. It was lighter than this and 20 more hp/tq, and it was a fucking dog.
