I break almost all of their financial wellness rules, yet I’m doing pretty well. The few rules I’ve followed have all ended up panning out worse that if I broke them (saving up 20% for a house, paying off student loans aggressively).

Too many people think a $30k+ vehicle is a necessity “because I need it to be reliable and safe,” even if they’re living paycheck to paycheck and barely keeping their heads above water.

Hydrolysis is absurdly energy-intensive.To replace all US gasoline usage with synth fuel would mean increasing our electricity output by 4.5 trillion kilowatt hours. And that’s at 100% of theoretical efficiency.

This makes so much more sense than a fully electric infrastructure for the reasons you mentioned.
