Why is the application process stupid? It’s not as if there are tons of these cars to go around, what’s wrong with making sure the people that DO get one are true enthusiasts that will enjoy, drive, and share the car as it is intended?

I’m not arguing that dedicated circuits are safer than street circuits, but you do realize Senna, Ratzenberger, (and also Bianchi) died (or sustained the injuries that eventually killed them) at dedicated circuits, right? It’s always dangerous, regardless.
