Of course I agree that cats should be kept indoors, though outdoor cats did not swim to the islands where they hunt birds, LOL! Humans brought them there, and I’m not seeing hardly any effort to fine people who own these outdoor cats. I moved on from animal medicine to bird biology and bird walks, so I’m an intense

Oh my goodness. That does sound like Ives! He had one blown pupil (see photo) and the vet thought he might have kidney disease. But we now think he had a rare disorder that thickened the blood. I also got Ives at the shelter where I worked, I was holding the needle when I met him! I knew instantly that he was my cat.

Worked at the MSPCA. Most of my cat bites didn’t swell, until we got an older (truly) feral kitten in and I gave it a flea bath. Of course it bit me, and my finger swelled up the size of Norway. Later the kitten fell over when it tried to walk, and I convinced myself I had contracted rabies. I had just been vaccinated

My husband contracted it a few years ago (from our indoors, declawed in the front paws cat; and no, we didn’t declaw him, we adopted him that way). I kept telling him the symptoms looked like CSF, and he finally went to his doctor, who is a friend of his. Sure enough, he tested positive. Doc thought it was

Well...except for that part where she conked Vernon over the head and killed him and she and Andre buried the body in the woods. Who among us hasn’t done that before? lol

One of my cousins was hospitalized from Cat Scratch Fever. Oh man did we make fun of his very serious medical condition endlessly, heartlessly.

OH. MY. GOD. i was about to reach through my computer monitor at your throat when i started reading your reply.

“No, they’re your problem...”

As a good friend likes to say “In marriage you can either be happy, or you can be right.”

I definitely haven’t watched since about halfway through last season but damn, RIP Rhonda, you were actually one of the characters I wasn’t completely bored with.

He’s my neighbor in Brooklyn, always rides his bike around and easy to chat with. Really gracious and humble too.

What I really want to know is when Michelle was watching that speech (you know she was)--did she catch it right away?? Like, that speech for her was her biggest most important--she likely still knows it by heart. Did she turn to BO and was all “bitch stole my line!”

Forgive me, but you need to get your fangirl papers in order. Also, perhaps, get off my lawn. Sorry, I’m just having a probably almost entirely age related disturbance over the fact that you consider Hunger Games more visible than Angels in America. (He won a Tony before he was 30!!!)

Basquiat was in 1996. I really need to give it a rewatch.

Now playing

I wonder what Lili Taylor (swoon) has to say about this.

Thank you. Basquiat is all of my loves together. Basquiat? Check. Bowie? Check. Dennis Hopper? Check. Willem Dafoe? Check. Clair Forlani? Check. Gary Oldman? Check.

I came here to say this. Crispin was an amazing Warhol in the Doors movie. He was one of the best things about that movie, actually. Ok, THE best thing.

My favorite line, “Oh, Jean, I just don’t know what’s good anymore”, delivered in a whiny, perfect deadpan. Bowie as Warhol was perfect.

From your lips to Anonymous’ ears!
